Description of the Project/ Objectives:

Hari of Ibrahim, located in the historical center of Pafos, was formerly a hotel of an era where traders and pedlars gathered when traveling from province to province. After the 1960s, Hani was abandoned and as a result its premises were transformed into workshops.

Recently, this area and some adjacent ones have been restored. More specifically, three thematic neighborhoods were created with various activities: The first one will host event venues, the other one commercial activities and hostels and the third one includes exhibition areas. These neighborhoods are connected by an internal courtyard, in which a wooden platform has been created for outdoor performances.

Results: This project has transformed Hani of Ibrahim into a vital part of the city and an additional destination for visitors as it used to be a long time ago, reviving memories of the past. The total project cost is about €3,2mln and it is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
