Consultation​

The Coordination Committee for the Design and the Strategic Monitoring of the Programming Documents for the period 2014-2020 was established by a Council of Ministers Decision on the 12th of March 2014.
 
The Coordination Committee is chaired by the Permanent Secretary of the DG for European Programmes, Coordination and Development within its competence as the National Body for the European Structural and Investment Funds in Cyprus. Members of the Committee are the Permanent Secretaries of the competent Ministries.

Within its responsibilities, the Committee examines the content of the Programming Documents aiming at the attainment of synergies and complementarity between the Programmes, it examines possible modifications of the Partnership Agreement and monitors the implementation of the Programmes at strategic level. Additionally, the Committee will be informed about the preparation of the interim progress report of 2017, and will ensure the coordination with other EU Programmes as well as with national policies and promotes suggestions, where necessary, concerning policy issues to be promoted to the Council of Ministers for approval.
